Jennifer L. Kolter, L.Ac.

She is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which encompasses an array of modalities including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, dietary therapy, fire cupping, moxabustion, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), Tai Chi, and Gua Sha.

She acquired experience in various clinics during her studies at Chinese Medical School including Bloomington Natural Care Center, University Health Services, Woodwinds Clinic and Serenity Senior Care Center before entering the entrepreneurial world.

She completed her Masters in Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University, College of Health & Wellness. She is licensed through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, is a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and certified in Clean Needle Technique through the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).

As a TCM provider she is able to customize an individual’s treatment to guide the body back to a natural way of healing. All healing begins with the patient, regardless of the therapy. Mind, body and spirit must be in harmony for health to be achieved. She is passionate about getting to the root of the problem and is grateful for the opportunity to guide you on the journey back to a place of health and vitality.

On a personal note, Jennifer is married and has four active children. Her background, before TCM, was largely accounting and customer service related with a 10 year window staying home to raise her children full-time. Raising her children was the spark of her journey into this medicine and continues to help fuel the passion.
