Emily McInnis, MA, LMFT is a marriage and family therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and located on the main floor.

 

She earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler Graduate school and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Argosy University. Emily has a range of experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings including, private practice, schools, crisis centers and in the homes of clients. Emily has a special interest in working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, and has received basic training in EMDR as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Emily is creative in her approach and utilizes concepts from a variety of different approaches; including but not limited to Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Narrative therapy, Art therapy,  and Person-Centered Therapy. 

 

She has also received training in Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Professionals to become more holistic in looking at diet and nutrition as part of the process to becoming more emotionally balanced. She works to meet the needs of her clients by developing a strong therapeutic relationship and discovering client strengths to help them find their own healing potential. 

 

Her background includes helping clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, anger management, ADD/ADHD, autism, personality disorders, grief, attachment and relational difficulties.

45 min session is $85

60 min session $120

Initial diagnostic assessment $150

Sliding scale fees are considered on a case by case basis.

Cash discounts available for those paying out of pocket.
