Digestion is basis of all health. This is a perspective shared by all three systems - Chinese, Ayurvedic and Western. How they each think about digestion, and heal or work towards health is both different and similar.
Three practitioners will teach basic principles from all three perspectives. You will walk away with a better Western/scientific understanding of digestion, and Eastern methods that support health and digestion including yoga, movement, what kinds of foods to eat, seasonal eating, and how all three perspectives intersect and compliment each other.
So whether you deal with GERD, IBS, fatigue, a sluggish system or skin problems, digestion is one of the first places to start. We are here to help you. Jennifer Kolter, L.Ac., Teresa Konechne, NTP and Tiffany Reinitz, PharmD.
COST: $65. Early Bird special $50 (by June 1st) for workshop #1 or you can register for all three for $150. Snacks included.
Workshops #2 will be July 27 and #3 will be August 24. We will dive deeper into food sensitivities, self-testing, healthy meal planning and snacks, ferments and detoxing - subject to change based on what participants want to cover. Come to this class to learn and perform poses to help relieve aches and pains such as sciatica and plantar fasciitis, while also being introduced to strength training in a fun and enjoyable environment!
